Season 6..coming up

This last weekend Keith and I were able to enjoy our last weekend off before Basketball Season is underway. Fresno State played at home Friday night and it was a great experience. It was a fun game to watch and we came out with a win! This was just the beginning to our weekend.

Saturday we loaded up and headed to Los Angeles. We stopped just North of LA and experienced Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was so much fun! I have not been to a six flags in years and they have definitely improved Roller Coasters since then. I enjoy the night roller coasters that I can sit in the "cart", pull down on the latch and go over some drops and maybe a few loops. This place was crazy. We rode the main 12 roller coasters, except Batman because it was shut down for the night. They were anywhere from our feet hanging, standing, or tilting us towards the ground so we are looking down the entire ride. I am so glad we went and enjoyed the day/night. It was Fright Fest, so they also had haunted mazes you could go into, as well as, Ghosts and Zombies that wandered around trying to scare you. You had to be careful where you walked, but overall I thought I did pretty well.

Sunday we were able to go into LA and see the "tourist attractions". We drove down Rodeo Drive and window shopped, as I couldn't imagine even stepping foot inside some of those shops. We hit up Hollywood Blvd. and saw many of the Stars throughout the Walk of Stars. They were having the Premier of American Horror Story that night, so the street was blocked off and cameras and the red carpet were being rolled out. Before we headed home, we had to see the famous Hollywood sign. I got a picture from our car and we headed out.

We ended the night watching the Royals win to advance to the ALCS. It was a great weekend and I am so glad we could get out of town, even if it was for a short trip, before season started. We are looking forward to the season and the new team! It will definitely be a fun year!
